With the 2011 Joomla Day Midwest officially over, it’s safe to say that the event was a great success. Around the world there have been 24 Joomla Days so far in 2011 and our event, number 25, got off to a great start with the announcement on Friday that Joomla was awarded Best CMS at the PACKT Open Source Awards. This set the tone for the weekend with feedback from both speakers and attendees being very positive.
